Account Setup

Account & Subscription

Your account lets you sign in to the dashboard; your subscription provides the configuration for your client. Check your account first, then review the subscription and active configuration to avoid duplicate imports and confusion when switching devices.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can easily recognize and keep your password safe. Your account credentials and client subscription link serve different purposes; never use the subscription link as your login password. Once your account is set up, check its status in the dashboard, then review your plan and subscription details. If your browser has saved multiple accounts, make sure you’re signed in to the one that purchased the plan rather than looking for a subscription in an empty account. If you have trouble logging in, describe the message on the page and what happened. Never post your password or full subscription link in a public forum.

How do I import and update my subscription link?

Sign in to the dashboard and copy your subscription link. In your client’s subscription or configuration manager, choose the option to import from a link. Save the subscription, update the configuration, then select a route and connect. To refresh the route list later, use the update option on the existing subscription instead of repeatedly creating duplicate configurations. If an update fails, check that the copied link is complete, has no spaces at either end, and that you can access the dashboard over your regular connection. If the link in the dashboard has changed, edit the address in the existing subscription entry and update it again. Once updated, make sure the newly imported configuration is active. Your full subscription link contains account access credentials, so save it only on your own devices.

Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices or use multiple devices at once?

VPNPB allows unlimited devices to be connected at the same time, so changing devices alone doesn’t mean you need to buy another plan. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. On a new device, sign in to the account that purchased the plan, open the client downloads section, then get and import your subscription. Permission prompts and configuration menus vary by platform; follow the guide for your device. When using multiple devices, keep an eye on your account’s remaining data. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. You can remove the saved subscription configuration from an old device. Before handing a device to someone else, clear your account sign-in details and subscription link.

Where can I download a client, and why are no routes showing after import?

Client downloads are available in the dashboard. Sign in to get your subscription, then choose a client for your operating system from the downloads section and check your plan status. If you’ve imported the subscription but no routes appear, first make sure the update has finished. Then check that the selected configuration is the subscription you just imported; saving a link alone doesn’t download its configuration. If the client reports a parsing error, keep the error message and check whether the import method supports that subscription format. Don’t add conversion links from unknown sources or post your full subscription on a public page. If you still need help, open a support ticket from the dashboard and include your operating system, the client’s message and the steps you took.

Troubleshoot Step by Step

Connections & Troubleshooting

“Connected” is a client status; it doesn’t mean every app is using that route. Check your local connection, the client’s traffic-routing mode, app rules and the target service’s messages separately to narrow down the problem.

The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. Where should I start?

Disconnect the client first and check that your regular connection can open familiar websites. If your underlying connection isn’t working, troubleshoot your local network before anything else. Once it’s back, make sure you’ve selected a working route and enabled the client’s system proxy or network-routing feature. Try both a browser and the affected app to see whether everything is failing or just one service. If only a specific service is affected, try another route in its target region and restart the app. Keep the configuration unchanged while troubleshooting and adjust one setting at a time to help identify the cause. If you open a support ticket, include the error message, operating system and route name, but hide your subscription link and account credentials.

Why does proxying work in my browser but not in a particular app?

Apps handle network connections differently. A browser may use the system proxy, while some apps use their own connection method or don’t match the client’s proxy rules. Check the client’s current mode and the rule for the target domain, then see whether the app’s requests appear in the connection log. If the client offers a network-routing mode, you can enable it by following your platform’s instructions and granting the required system permissions. Before doing so, consider how it may affect your local network and other software. After changing settings, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an old connection. An app’s account region, eligibility requirements or risk-control messages should also be assessed separately from proxy settings.

How can I troubleshoot failed or frequently dropping connections without trial and error?

First check your plan status and whether the subscription updated successfully. Then confirm that the client has the required system permissions. Temporarily quit other proxy tools that may manage network traffic, so multiple tools aren’t changing the system proxy or routes at once. Keep the same configuration and try another route to see whether the issue is limited to one route. Then try a different local network to check whether your current connection environment is involved. Don’t change the mode, route and network all at once; even if the connection comes back, you won’t know why. If disconnections happen when the device sleeps, the network changes or a particular app starts, describe that trigger in your support ticket. Screenshots should show the error and status, but hide your full subscription link.

Web pages aren’t resolving properly. How should I check my DNS settings?

If the client connects but domains won’t load, check that its DNS settings match your current configuration. Avoid mixing in parameters from outdated guides. Check whether your browser has its own secure DNS enabled, and whether your operating system or other network software is also handling DNS. These settings can combine to send requests along different paths. Revert any settings you changed, reconnect, and try the page again. To check your apparent exit location, you can use this site’s IP lookup page. Keep in mind that an exit location is only a troubleshooting clue; on its own, it can’t confirm that all apps or DNS requests use the same route. If the problem persists, note the domain, error message and current mode, then open a support ticket.

Open the IP lookup to check your browser’s current exit information.

Choose a Route for Your Needs

Speed & Routes

Choose a route based on the target region and app, then compare how the connection performs. Region coverage, route type and access to a platform are separate considerations; don’t treat one as a substitute for another.

Slowdowns at peak times: should I change regions or routes?

First check whether all apps are slow or only a particular video or tool is having trouble loading. Pause large downloads on other devices and make sure your local connection isn’t saturated. Then compare routes in the same target region. Keeping the region constant helps rule out changes to content libraries, account region and exit location. If routes in that region still don’t work well, choose another region supported by the service. Video buffering, choppy call audio and slow-loading pages can have different causes, so note each symptom separately. VPNPB doesn’t guarantee a particular speed at any time based on route type. Choose a route based on how it actually performs with your current connection and target app.

How do I choose between IEPL, relayed and direct routes?

These labels describe how a route connects and forwards traffic; they don’t mean one type is faster on every network. IEPL refers to a dedicated link, a relayed route passes through an intermediary node, and a direct route connects without an intermediary. First choose a region that meets the target service’s requirements, then compare routes in that region in the apps you use every day. For calls, check connection stability; for streaming, check uninterrupted playback; for websites and AI tools, check that pages load and requests complete. Don’t rule out routes based on their labels alone or treat one connection test as a long-term result. If a particular route has a problem, note its name so you can include it in a support ticket and check again later.

Which regions are available, and is a closer region always faster?

VPNPB covers 110+ countries and 240+ routes. Browse the global nodes page or the route list after updating your client to see the available options. Distance is just one factor: your local provider’s routing, connection method, the target service’s location and current network conditions also affect performance. For services with regional requirements, start with an eligible exit region, then compare available routes. If there’s no specific region requirement, try a route that works well for your everyday use. The nodes page shows regions and route types, but you’ll need to connect to confirm whether a particular platform works. Coverage doesn’t mean every region works with every service or account.

Netflix, ChatGPT and other services show a region error. Will changing routes fix it?

Changing routes can help you check whether the exit path is involved, but it can’t replace checking your eligibility with the platform. Read the error message and distinguish region restrictions from proxy detection, sign-in problems and payment-region issues. Then confirm that the client is routing requests to the service through the selected route. Keep the exit region consistent, fully quit and reopen the app, and check your account region against the platform’s current rules. Streaming catalogs may also depend on licensing and account conditions, while AI tools have their own regional requirements. VPNPB’s international routes offer connection options, but don’t guarantee access to every platform, piece of content or account. For more troubleshooting, see our complete guide to accessing region-restricted services and include the platform’s error message in your support ticket.

Pricing & Orders

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plans and data packs differ in how long the data lasts. Handle payments, upgrades and refunds through the account that purchased the plan, and check your order details before making changes.

How much do monthly plans and data packs cost, and which should I choose?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packs: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. Data packs remain valid until used and never expire. If you use the service regularly and your data needs are fairly consistent, compare the monthly tiers. If you use it less often and want to draw on your remaining data over time, consider a data pack. Check the plans page for current prices, data allowances and billing terms; don’t compare only the one-time payment amounts. All plans allow unlimited devices to be connected at the same time. Device limits and data allowances are separate; check the dashboard for your account’s details.

When does monthly plan data reset, and how are mid-cycle upgrades calculated?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date, not necessarily on the first day of the calendar month. For an upgrade partway through a cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Before making changes, check your current plan and account status in the dashboard, then review the upgrade details shown in the plans section and follow the on-screen steps. Don’t estimate the result using the remaining days in a calendar month, and don’t assume an upgrade adds bonus data or resets your billing cycle. If the details look different after upgrading, refresh the dashboard and client subscription, then confirm you’re signed in to the same account. To report an issue, open a support ticket with your previous plan, the new plan and relevant order details. Don’t include your password or full subscription link.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn’t appear after payment?

We accept Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT. Start the payment process from the plans section of the dashboard and follow the instructions on the current order page. After paying, return to the dashboard to check your order and plan status; closing the payment page alone doesn’t confirm that payment has been credited. If the payment record shows completed but your plan hasn’t changed, refresh the account page, make sure you’re signed in to the account that placed the order, and check whether an order is still pending. Don’t pay again for the same order to try to restore its status. Instead, open a support ticket with the relevant order details, payment status and page message. Hide personal information unrelated to the issue in payment screenshots. There’s no need to include your subscription link or login password.

How do I request a 30-day no-questions-asked refund?

VPNPB offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the account used for payment and explain your request through the support ticket option in the dashboard. Include order details that can help us identify the purchase. See the Terms of Service for the full refund rules; this help page explains where to apply but doesn’t replace the terms. Before submitting your request, check the order and plan status and make sure you’re using the right account. If you’d also like help troubleshooting a connection issue, describe it separately so it’s clear whether you’re asking for troubleshooting or a refund. Follow up through the ticket. Don’t post payment records, account passwords or subscription links publicly, and don’t assume a processing timeframe.
